Monograms & Mimosas for Taylor

My sweet cousin Taylor is tying the knot this summer and we showered her with monogrammed gifts galore the other weekend. It was a wonderful shower and Taylor was surrounded by lots of family & friends.
The beautiful bride-to-be
My Nana loves garden flags, so I gave her this flag during the week of my wedding last year. It was only fitting that we pull it out again for Taylor's shower :) The flowers, on the otherhand, started out pretty, but got just a little to close to the candles and...well... there was just a little smoke. Ooops!

Just a few of her cute gifts.

I can't wait to celebrate with Taylor & Tripp in July. She's going to such a beautiful bride.
Love you Taylor!

Mother's Day 2012

Matt & I traveled to South Carolina for Mother's Day weekend and we were able to see both of our sweet mamas and 3 grandmothers. The weekend started off with a Monogram bridal shower for my cousin, Taylor - (pictures soon to come) -  then we spent Saturday afternoon in Greenwood and hit the road for Powdersville Saturday evening to see the Reeses. Anna Bryce joined us for the car ride back to Atlanta on Sunday evening, and was even kind enough to let me take her to the airport on Monday at 4:30 a.m. to catch a flight back to NYC.   Lots of driving, but well worth it!

I was reminded last weekend of how blessed I am to have a mother, mother-in-law & grandmothers with hearts of gold. I couldn't ask for better role models, and I love each of them so very much. Here a few pics of the mamas I love.

Better Late Than Never

I finally got around to uploading some older pictures and came across a few goodies from Christmas last year. I can't believe it's already May - Christmas doesn't seem that long ago. Here's our pretty little tree - #1. Matt was kind and patient as I made him hold up almost every tree on the lot for my examination. Sweet husband.
And after lots of lights & decorations....

Such a unique gift from my crafty pal Jennifer. She made this using our wedding invitation!
Matt & also hosted a little shin dig at our new apartment. It was a good mix of work friends, PC buddies and my law school friends. We are truly blessed to have great friends in Atlanta.
